New Meth Regulations for Rental Properties come into effect this Thursday 16th April 2026.
Maximum Acceptable Level 15 µg per 100cm2
Maximum Inhabitable Level of 30 µg per 100cm2
These regulations only apply to rental properties governed by the Residential tenancies Amendment Act.
For the Sale and Purchase of Property, Cars, Boats and motorhomes the NZ Standard, NZS8510:2017 still applies.
